Participant Meals Packages from The Bear's Paw Cafe:
BREAKFAST: $7 - It's an early start for the race: 7 am meeting in Barkerville...8 km's away...we can arrange transportation for you! If you'd like us to supply Breakfast, let us know now. $7 plus tax gets you: Juice, coffee or tea, Bread, and access to the toaster, fresh muffins, our famous Bean and Egg Breakfast Burrito, an orange or apple, and PB and Jam! Breakfast starts at 6 am sharp.
LUNCH: FREE. The Paw is passed mid-event. It's your chance to fuel up...your entry fee includes two power bars, two sports drinks, and depending on the weather a hearty soup or stew, and a delicious Bear's Paw Sandwich. Happy travels!
DINNER: $25 - After the event, we put on a big spread at the Paw. This is our "Awards Banquet", although admittedly, the greatest reward is in having completed the day. We have prizes donated by Beck's Pottery, Cyclelogic, Rocky Peaks Adventures, Frog on the Bog and others for fastest time, most average time, hard luck, best poker hand and other catagories! The dinner itself is an additional $25 out of pocket, but we've made it great value: Sliced Roast Beef with a Chipotle Molet, Roast Potatoes, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Steamed Veggies, Cranberry Carrot Cake, Brownie, and tea or coffee....Alchohol available at your cost! Try a Dead Frog Nut Brown to rehydrate!
BREAKFAST for Everyone Sunday: Sunday morning we'll be open, business as usual, all morning for our famous Belgian Waffle Breakfast, a cup of coffee, or whatever it takes to get you and your supporters back on the road to where-ever you have to be!
